Rockers / Day 1

You people might've heard a lotta smack talk lately about Netflix, but I still love it. They gave me 30 days of free streaming. 30! Thats 720 hours. free. Before this turns into a Netflix ad, though -- I have 15 days left on this free month of streaming. Every day I'll post a movie that you can watch on Netflix. Todays film is...

Jamaica. 1977. Rockers is like the reggae version of 'Blues Brothers.' A man on a Mission from Jah to get what's his. To bring culture to the people.

Rockers is also about starting your own business. Horsemouth, a freelance drummer with a ton of street cred and clout but not much money, needs to up his cashflow. What better way to do it than start hustlin records on the street? But, "the big boy control the record business." Horsemouth is determined to bring down The Industry while delivering the choicest records to the people, like a one-man Internet. He raises the start-up capital, buys a motorcycle so he can distribute the music, and brings the heat. But when Babylon takes back, Horsemouth and his zaney friends set out to get theirs.

Needless to say, the soundtrack rules.
